Common Hour Standard Operating Procedure - SOP

### **Requirements;**
1\. To become a common hour moderator, you should have at least attended one common hour session.\
2\. Present your interest to the board that you want to moderate common hour events.
After you have been selected to become a Common Hour moderator you should;
a. Be registered at [cnmcyber.com](http://cnmcyber.com) to be able to start the meeting on [talk.cnmcyber.com](http://talk.cnmcyber.com)\
b. Get Virtual Computer (VM) credentials from Mira Kudrevatyh or Natalya SHapoval by reaching out to them on [CNMCyber.com](http://CNMCyber.com). Or use the credentials posted [Here](http://cnmcyber.com/content/perma?id=5429)!\
c. Learn how to start a meeting on the VM using the steps posted [Here](http://cnmcyber.com/content/perma?id=5708)!
#### **Before the Event**
##### The moderator
1. To schedule the event in the Calendar of the Welcome space with the wordings posted [Here](http://cnmcyber.com/content/perma?id=5711)! as a reoccurring event.
2. To start the meeting on a VM machine 7 days before the actual event using the steps posted [Here](http://cnmcyber.com/content/perma?id=5708)!
a. In the google chrome window open this link ([https://talk.cnmcyber.com/common](https://talk.cnmcyber.com/common)) and log into using the credentials already created to be able to start the meeting.
b. Pin the poster (uploaded in this SOP) as a background image for the VM machine and open the video for the poster to be displayed. This is to prompt visitors to leave their questions which will be addressed during the Common Hour event;
c. Uncheck the 'Mirror my video' option for the image not to be inverted.
d. To join the link 1 hour before the event to collect question posted on the comment section and prepare answers.

##### During the Event
1. to join the meeting 10 minutes before other participants using your normal device
2. to take the initiative of welcoming all the members present.
3. to give an overview of the intended discussion during the meeting
4. to give the participants a chance for a Q&A session
5. will therefore try to respond to the questions shared on the VM and live during the event.
6. will note down the frequently asked questions and upload them to the FAQ WiKi page on the Welcome space.
7. Communicate the next meeting and adjourn the meeting.
##### After the Event
1\.Will update the FAQ WiKi page on the Welcome space with the relevant questions asked and answers. \
2\. Share a summary of the event on the Welcome space. \
3\. End the session for all in their local device. This will end the session inther local device as well as in the VM. \
4\. Start a new event on the VM using the process stated above.
**Unpredictable Circumstances**
1. In the event the common hour organizer experiences an error on the side of the technology. i.e, challenges accessing the VM or accessing [talk.conmcyber.com](http://talk.conmcyber.com) or any other technical challenge, he/she should reach out to Natalya SHapoval through [cnmcyber.com](http://cnmcyber.com). Any other non-technical challenge, to reach out to Mira Kudrevatyh or for any assistance required.
2. In the event the moderator is not able to join the Common Hour event, he/she should communicate prior to the event to the WiseNxt Coordinator. The WiseNxt Cord oversees the Welcome Space and Welcome Space events and will be able to take over.
